Sand Hills Golf Club is an 18-hole private course designed by professional golfer, Ben Crenshaw and design partner, Bill Coore. Since its inception in 1995, Golf Digest has ranked Sand Hills Golf Club at the top of its "Modern List" of courses (courses built since 1960). The course is located 12 miles south of Mullen on Highway 97. Visitors are welcome at the golf shop. In order to play golf, players must be members or sponsored by a member in advance."
